I was away at shows and a storm came up
and the rope broke and it hit one of the trees in the back of the cove. I also
had floor joist in the living room/front deck area that had rottened and was in the process of replacing them
when this happened. I am on the road doing shows every weekend and I just don't have time to fix it and would
just like to sell it.
It is tied off between two trees in the
cove. It is beautiful there. Taxes on the boat is about $109 a
year. There is no rental fee for where it is at....its "public"
waterways, so FREE RENT and just 15 miles to the beach! I lived on
the boat for about 3 years. It has been there for about 5 years now.
I have loved every minute of time I have spent on the boat. You wake
up and just throw out the line. There's nothing like being out on
the water. Plenty of fish, brim/bass/catfish. I have a small
sneak boat that I would go back and forth to the landing where I park my
van. It takes about 7 min in my boat. If you had a motor
boat...2 min.!
It could be a great boat again if someone
has the time for a good project that would once again turn it into a great
getaway/apartment.
It has two V-8 engines.
I have not started them in a long time. But they worked fine the
last time I did start them. One of the props broke off when it hit
the tree during the storm. There are a couple of guys just down at
the Conway Marina that dive and probably could find it easily.
The water is not too deep in the cove. The boat really needs do be
towed to the Hague Marina in North Myrtle Beach and taken out of the water
for repairs. Its about 15 miles to the Intracoastal Waterway and
then about another 15+ miles to Hague. I called and they said they
would take it out and block it up for about $500 and another $300 or so to
put it back in the water. Plus $10 a day while it is out, electric
included. It would probably take about $5000 to get into
shape...just a guess. Redone this boat could be worth $35,000
or more! I should be asking more, but I just don't have the time or
money to fix it and am ready to move on....
Asking price: $4500 as is.

As you can see it has a leak and I just pumped it out
and leveled it off. I just installed an automatic float switch on
the bilge pump to keep the water out.
I also had a 5500 watt generator, but it was stolen while I was gone....ugg!
