1. Are you going to wear a regular bar buckle or an elongated theme buckle?

   If you have a "theme" buckle you plan to wear, I need to know that. The belt will need to be sized differently than from a regular standard buckle. There is a 2 inch difference in the sizing of the two buckles.  A typical belt size is 2 inches larger than your pant size, except if you plan to wear a theme buckle, then the belt size is the same as your pant size (the theme buckle will add the 2" necessary to be the right size).  I do put 5 holes in the belt with the calculated belt size as the middle hole. Most larger theme buckles will fit both the 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" belts. (Note: It may be better to go with 1 1/2", not many pant loops fit the larger width now.) 2. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT DETAIL!
   What is the pant waist size (in inches)?   
   I need your pants size, NOT the bare waist size.  This is what you measure, not the size you wish you were...LOL!  Typically, your belt size is 2" larger than your pant/waist size.  So, to be accurate I need to know your pant/waist size. PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE OVERALL BELT LENGTH, THIS IS NOT YOUR BELT SIZE, your belt size is measured from the fold around the buckle to the hole you wear it in.  See sizing instructions further down the page.
   
   A.  Your belt size should be the same as your pant size plus 2 inches.
   B.  You can also get a cloth measure tape and run THROUGH (NOT around or over loops) the belt loops to get an accurate reading. Where the cloth tape crosses should be your belt size. Pull it as tight as you are going to wear it.
   C.  Also, if you have an old belt, measure it from the fold of the belt around the buckle to the hole you are wearing it in now. Please make sure when you measure the old belt, that you have the buckle on there that you plan to wear with the new belt. If you are not sure, call me to make sure we have the right size, I don't want you to have to pay for another belt and I want you to be satisfied the FIRST TIME!  
   
   Please TRIPLE CHECK your size, if you order a specific size, knowing the above guidelines and it doesn't fit, because you FORGOT about the THEME buckle or are just GUESSING, please don't be disappointed when you receive the belt and it doesn't fit just right.   If you have an EXTRA LARGE buckle (more than a 2" span from bar to hook), please measure from the buckle bar to the hook and let me know that measurement. 
   
   MY GUARANTEE:  If for some reason I made a mistake in size or design, I will gladly make you another belt for free and pay for the shipping also.  If you send me the wrong size, I will be glad to make you another belt but you will have to pay for another belt.  I wish I could afford to make another one for free but there is time and material expense that does not allow a free belt.  I hope you understand.  Please read CAREFULLY the sizing instructions above, if you have a question please call or email.

5. Name or initials if desired.  Name is usually in the back center and initials on the tip/tongue of the belt.

6. Width size. Some larger tools may not fit on smaller widths. For example:  if you choose a design with a stitched border and select the boot stamp and want the design in a 1 1/4" width, the boot stamp won't fit.  I could do a two tone dark edge without the stitched border to create a similar belt. So, keep that in mind.
